Our Club was established 1985 by a group of friends with the purpose to spread,
without commercial intentions, the static modelling little known in Lecco province.
Static modelling is the reduced size reproduction of an inspiring subject,
mostly cars, motorcycles, ships and all kind of military items. The building of such
items, on top of the great skill required, needs a huge workload as well, that cannot
be evaluated by people unaware of this passion. Our club has a great deal of models
at its disposal. Among the most expressing categories there are the reproductions
(some in great size) of the sailing-boats that ran the seas for many centuries, of the
military means that fought many wars, and of the civilian means we can see every
day on our roads or running on tracks. During the years, we organized, in many
towns of the province, some very successful exhibitions (often with didactic school
visits) that always called a great number of visitors, gratifying our work. In addition
we periodically receive invitations from the various bodies that organize exhibitions
and shows, such as the International Modelling Fair, occurring every year in the
Novegro Parco Esposizioni, next to Linate airport, that we regularly attend.
